Turning Off Echo In Ruby’s IRB

Some genius figured this out and posted it to google groups.

dev:~ root# cat .irbrc
IRB.conf[:PROMPT][ IRB.conf[:PROMPT_MODE] ][:RETURN]=”
dev:~ root# irb
irb(main):001:0> 1
irb(main):002:0> p 1
1
irb(main):004:0> exit
dev:~ root#
